Communication Sciences and Disorders (A.S.)

The Associate of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders offers an intensive study in the area of speech and language disorders, and includes supervised field experience in a variety of settings. Upon completion of the A.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders degree program, the graduate is eligible to apply for a certification as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to the New Hampshire Allied Health Speech Language Pathology Governing Board. This program is designed to meet guidelines of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Students will:

  • Gain knowledge, field experience and core technical skills within the field of speech language pathology assisting;
  • Meet professional standards in keeping with state and national guidelines for competency and ethics.
